Healthy Markets Association
Founded in 2015, the Healthy Markets Association is a 501(c)6 not-for-profit member organization focused on educating market participants on capital markets policy, as well as improving the transparency, efficiency, and fairness of the capital markets.
Healthy Markets promotes these goals through education and advocacy to reduce conflicts of interest, improve timely access to market information, modernize the regulation of trading venues and funding markets, and promote robust public markets. HMA's members include public pension funds, investment advisers, broker-dealers, exchanges, and data firms.
Americans for Financial Reform
Americans for Financial Reform is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization founded when more than 200 civil rights, labor, consumer, community-based, faith, business, and other organizations came together to create an effective public interest voice on banking, finance and financialization. Formed in the wake of the 2008 economic crisis, the organization convenes and leads a set of interlocking coalitions that work to transform the financial system so that it serves an equitable and sustainable economy.
American Association for Justice
AAJ promotes justice and fairness for injured persons, safeguards victims' rights—particularly the right to trial by jury—and strengthens the civil justice system through education and disclosure of information critical to public health and safety. With members worldwide, and a network of U.S. and Canadian affiliates involved in diverse areas of trial advocacy, AAJ provides lawyers with the information and professional assistance needed to serve clients successfully and protect the democratic values inherent in the civil justice system.
The Consumer Federation of America (CFA) is an association of non-profit consumer organizations that was established in 1968 to advance the consumer interest through research, advocacy, and education. Today, more than 250 of these groups participate in the federation and govern it through their representatives on the organization’s Board of Directors.
